Por otro lado, Max Cavalera está inmerso en su autobiografía A boy from Brazil, que también se espera sea editada antes de fin de año. Este libro lo está escribiendo junto a Joel McIver, que ya trabajara en Justice for all: The truth about Metallica”, ”Crazy train: The high life and tragic death of Randy Rhoads” y ”Glenn Hughes: The autobiography”.
